Home Sweet Home

It feels so amazing to be home!!  OH how I have missed all the little things, my room, bed, back porch, lake, snack drawer, cookies, home, and OF COURSE MY PARENTS!

I had a horrible time flying here! I do not travel well alone. I will have to learn because most of the time I will be traveling alone, but have not gotten down a good routine yet! The entire time to the airport we weren't sure if it was the correct airport (I know that sounds dumb) but it would not pull up an exact address, and when we first pulled up it was the corporate offices..I was panicking thinking I would miss my flight, but luckily the airport was 5 miles past the offices! PHEW!!

I brought my dog, Sophie home with me she definitely is my dog having stomach issues! She threw up in her crate on the way to the airport and I did not realize it until I had her out going through the scanner, and had it all over my white shirt...I had to go to the bathroom and throw out everything in her crate!! Trying to get her to take her sleeping pills for the airplane was a nightmare, and I had a panic attack somewhere in between all this mess! I almost had Jake turn around and come get me! I was so upset, and was over it (I hate flying!!) I have flown my entire life, and about 4 years ago I really started to hate it!  I was so excited to come home, but was dreading the flight! I forced myself to get on that airplane because I knew the end I would be happy! I finally arrived in Orlando around 11:40 pm and was so excited to be home! We left a day later for North Carolina for my niece, Ryley's 1st birthday! I haven't seen them since February! We had so much fun! I was so glad I got to be there, and share her special day with everyone!

I was supposed to go home on Tuesday, and felt like my time had been cut in half with more traveling we drove to NC and coming home took about 10.5 hours!! It was pretty bad with all the fires by Jacksonville! I was coming back to Orlando the beginning of July for Rachel's (Jake sister's wedding.) It did not make sense to go back to Texas on Tuesday, then fly back in 10 days..Plus Jake is on the road for 5 of them! I decided to stay through and spend more time here! I do miss Jake, but he is gone so much this month this was the perfect time for a break, until the off season in September! Jake will be coming to Orlando on July 8 for Rachel and Michael's wedding. The sad thing is he will only be there less than 30 Hours! I feel bad for him with all the traveling he is flying out of Missouri, then on Sunday early EARLY morning to Arkansas to meet his team. It will be nice for him to see everyone at the wedding, and be here for a little bit! He is looking forward to seeing his family! Just wish it wasn't so short! :(

  1. I hate flying too. Once I had the kids, I am so busy with them, I have had no time to worry about flights. I just don't do well flying withOUT the kids. I seriously write them letters about how I love them, etc, in case the flight doesn't make it. So morbid.
I tell myself it is all in God's plans. He has far too much left for me to do.
    :)
Glad Jake gets to come home for his sister's wedding! That's unheard of usually so yay for summer weddings!!
